Kepler-177 b
BarrenUninhabitable4694 light years awayFound 2013
Kepler-177 b, from the NASA Exoplanet Archive (found 2013). Measured: 5.84 Earth masses, 0.211 AU, a 5732 K G-type star. Composition inferred from a measured bulk density of 0.14x Earth's, larger than even a pure water/ice world of this mass, suggesting a water-rich interior under roughly a 13% hydrogen/helium envelope by mass, with an assumed 24-hour day — rotation cannot be measured for exoplanets. Note: TerraForge comes out at 725 K against the archive's 549 K, because it models stars by spectral class, and Kepler-177 is not an average G-type.

Why is this a Barren?Your planet has an unusual composition that doesn't fit standard classifications, or lacks the elements needed for complex geological processes.
Barren worlds can form from uncommon element combinations or may be remnants of larger bodies that lost their atmospheres and volatile materials.
Classification Criteria:
Composition doesn't match standard planet typesMass: 5.8x EarthTemperature: 725K
Habitability ScoreUninhabitable
Contributing Factors
temperature5
Scorching - hot enough to melt lead, though rock stays solid; no chance for life
atmosphere70
Nitrogen atmosphere provides protection but not breathable
water15
Abundant water - boiling away, little would be retained
magnetic Field100
Magnetic field provides radiation protection
geology40
Extreme volcanic activity may be hazardous
Organic Chemistry80
Core organic elements (CHNO) present
rotation100
Optimal rotation period - balanced day/night cycle, moderate weather, and good heat distribution
